Trattoria La Scarpetta

This is just a great place for dinner. They specialise in Sardinian dishes all prepared with local fresh ingredients. And you can taste it. Everything is full of flavour and love. They have just a handful of tables so you can be sure the owners will take very good care of you, will explain the menu and stop for a chat when they have time. We have been coming here for a few years and make sure we visit this trattoria at least once during our stay. And every time we leave wanting to come back. A special mention to the dessert as the owner uses some very local ingredients and flavours like pompia or helicrysum. A must if you visit Sardinia.

My review is a bit late, I visited this restaurant multiple times in September 2017. Usually I don’t rate all restaurant with 5 stars. However comparing this restaurant with the other restaurants in the neighborhood, this is the best place to go. Lovely people, great and authentic homemade dishes with traditional Sardinian products. The restaurant is quite small so try to make a reservation. Wish I could go back sometime, Millina and Tommaso thank you!

Fantastic trattoria just a short walk from Posada. Our host was lovely, learning our names from our reservation and warmly welcoming us to our table. The menu was abundant with delicious national delicacies. My husband got to use a scarpetta (see photo). We had a lovely night.

We had our best dinner here on our Sardinia vacation. The veggies were fresh and tasty, the tomato sauce was outstanding. The staff was so friendly.Reservation is recommended.

EAT HERE - it’s amazing!!Super friendly staff, quick service and incredible food.This place had a nice local vibe with the owner seeming to know most of the people arriving for dinner.Definitely worth a visit!

We had 2 dinners there and both times the food was just great.We had: a platter of cheese, gnochetti, ravioli, sausage in tomato sauce, pork, dessert and wine.For the sausage with tomatoes, it really impressed me how the onions and tomatoes were cooked, because the onions were still a bit crunchy, but not acidic at all. Same for the tomatoes.The herbs added were also super tasty.The service was also great.Tables are limited to 2 adults children.In addition, the price is fair.This place is definitely a must if you stay in the region.
